Privacy Policy
GoldenProtect is built for families, so we keep to what we need to run it. Last updated October 2026.
GoldenProtect is operated by RedPacific, LLC. This policy covers the app and the website at golden-protect.com.
What we collect
- Your account: your email address and a securely hashed password, or the Google account details you sign in with.
- Your license and billing status. Card details are handled by Stripe and never reach our servers.
- Which computers use your license: a device identifier, the app version and the last time the app checked in.
- If you use the guardian app: the guardian accounts linked to your parent’s computer, and the activity you chose to see there, such as whether the computer was used today and any “I’m OK” or help request your parent sent.
- Error reports the app sends when something breaks, so we can fix it.
What we never collect
- We do not read or store what your parent types on other websites, including email, passwords and banking pages. They sign in directly with those sites.
- We do not sell your data or use it for advertising.
Who we share it with
- Our service providers, only to run GoldenProtect: Stripe for payments, our database and hosting providers, and an email service for sign-in and alert emails.
- Anyone the law requires us to tell.
Your choices
- Ask us for a copy of your data, or to delete your account and the data linked to it, through the contact page. We reply by email.
- Cancel your subscription any time from your dashboard.
